Privacy policy

LAST UPDATED 29 SEPTEMBER 2026

We collect as little as we can, we don't track you around the web, and we never sell what you tell us.

Who we are

This policy covers actionman.capital and the conversations you have with Actionman Capital (“we”, “us”) through the channels listed on this site. For any privacy question, write to info@actionman.capital. You can encrypt your message with our PGP key.

What we collect

When you just browse the site, we collect nothing that identifies you. We run no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking and no third-party analytics. We count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that runs on our own server: it sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and keeps only aggregate figures (pages viewed, referring site, country and city, device type, and whether a form was sent, never what you typed in it). Our server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and troubleshooting.

When you contact us through the contact form, by email, Telegram, Signal, Session or the OffshoreCorpTalk forum, we receive whatever you choose to send: usually your name, company, contact details and a description of your business. With a contact form message we also store the IP address and browser type it was sent from, to protect the form against abuse.

When you subscribe to The Actionman Briefing, we collect your email address (and your name, if you give it). Subscriptions are double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm from your inbox. The list runs on our own self-hosted newsletter system, and emails are delivered through an email-sending provider acting on our instructions. We don’t track whether you open our emails. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

When you download a guide, we collect your email address (and first name, if you give it) to send you the guide and up to three short follow-up emails, then the series stops. Every one of those emails has a one-click link to stop them. We only add you to the Briefing if you tick that box.

When you become a client, the work requires due-diligence information, which may include identity documents, proof of address, corporate records, ownership details, source-of-funds evidence and financial statements. We ask for this only when an engagement needs it, never through this website.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and decide whether we can help.
  • To deliver the services you engage us for, including preparing onboarding files for banks, payment providers, exchanges and company registries.
  • To meet anti-money-laundering, know-your-customer and sanctions-screening obligations, ours and those of our partners.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

Most of what we do involves introducing you to regulated third parties. With your agreement, we share the information those providers need to assess and onboard you: banks, electronic money institutions, acquirers and payment service providers, crypto exchanges and OTC desks, registered agents and corporate service providers. Each of them handles your data under its own privacy policy and regulatory obligations.

We also rely on a small number of service providers to run our business, such as hosting and email, bound to confidentiality. We will disclose information to authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Our work is cross-border by nature, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. We transfer only what a given step needs.

How we protect it

The site is served only over HTTPS. We offer PGP-encrypted email for sensitive material and limit access to client files to the people working on your engagement. No system is perfectly secure, which is why we ask you not to send identity or financial documents unencrypted until we have agreed how to exchange them.

How long we keep it

  • Server logs: rotated automatically and kept only briefly.
  • Enquiries that don’t lead to an engagement: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Briefing subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Unconfirmed sign-ups are removed after 30 days.
  • Guide downloads: until you ask us to delete them; the follow-up emails stop after the series or when you opt out.
  • Client due-diligence records: for as long as anti-money-laundering rules require after the relationship ends, typically five years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. Write to info@actionman.capital and we’ll respond within 30 days. Where we must keep records by law, we’ll tell you what we can’t delete and why. You may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.

Cookies

The public site sets no cookies. See our cookie policy for the details.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
